Get it on your TV

Works in Downloader or any TV browser. Always points at the current release, so it never goes stale.

  1. Install Downloader from your TV's app store (Amazon Appstore or Google Play).
  2. Allow unknown sources — Settings → Security & restrictions (Fire TV: My Fire TV → Developer options).
  3. Enter the code or address above and press Go.
  4. Install when the download finishes, then open AivoPlay and add your playlist.
Both routes fetch the same signed APK as the button above, and both always serve the latest version — you never need a new code when we ship an update.

Verify before you install

An APK downloaded from the internet should always be checked. Run the command for your system on the downloaded file and compare the result with the checksum above — they must match character for character.

WINDOWS

If the checksum does not match, delete the file and do not install it. A mismatch means the download was corrupted or altered on the way to you. Only download AivoPlay from this page — APKs offered on mirror sites, forums or bundled with an IPTV subscription are not ours and we cannot vouch for what is inside them.

Installing the APK

Android asks for permission before installing an app from outside the Play Store. That prompt is expected — it appears for every sideloaded app.

On a phone or tablet

STEP 01

Download

Tap the button above. Your browser may warn that this file type can harm your device — that warning appears for every APK. Choose Download anyway.

STEP 02

Allow the install

Open the downloaded file. Android will ask to allow installs from your browser or file manager. Enable it, then come back — the install continues from there.

STEP 03

Install and open

Tap Install, then Open. Add your playlist and you're watching. You can turn that permission back off afterwards.

On Android TV, Google TV or Fire TV

STEP 01

Get the file onto the TV

TVs have no browser by default. Use a sideloading app from your TV's store (such as Downloader) and enter this page's address, or copy the APK across on a USB stick.

STEP 02

Allow unknown sources

In Settings → Security & restrictions (Fire TV: My Fire TV → Developer options), allow installs from the app you are using to sideload.

STEP 03

Install

Open the file and confirm. AivoPlay appears in your apps row with a TV-native interface built for the remote — D-pad focus throughout, no touch needed.

Updating later is easier. Once installed, AivoPlay checks for new versions itself and can download and install them in-app — you only need this page for the first install.
